Things you should not do:

Yoga demands complete separation from things that are counterproductive to the health of the mind and soul. So there are many things that you are supposed not to do here, some of these are:

How to reach Rishikesh:

By air:

 The nearest airport (Jolly grant, Dehradun) is around 15 kilometers away. This airport is well connected to the other airports in India. You can take a direct flight from Indira Gandhi International airport to jolly grant airport (Around 45 minutes). Once you reach Rishikesh, you can hire a taxi to reach any yoga school.

By car or Bus:

 You can rent a taxi from Delhi to Rishikesh, many taxis are available from Delhi to Rishikesh. It is a 6-7 hour journey from Indira Gandhi International airport to Rishikesh.

Traveling by bus is the cheapest option so far. You can board any Uttarakhand Transport bus from Kashmiri gate in New Delhi (try to board the bus from inside the main complex of the bus station). You can also board any private Volvo bus from New Delhi Kashmiri gate.
