Char Dham Registration
The well-known Char Dhams are the four sacred sites visited by Hindu pilgrims; they are located in Uttarakhand, tucked away among the towering Himalayan peaks. There are four locations on this Hindu pilgrimage circuit called the Char Dham circuit: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. The Hindu religion regards each of these places as extremely sacred. Every Hindu’s greatest desire is to visit the sacred sites at least once in their lifetime in order to find salvation (Moksha).
Together with observing religious festivals, dharma, worship, and Sanskaras, the pilgrimage known as the Teerth Yatra is considered one of the five obligations of a Hindu. Whilst on a pilgrimage, a follower places his concerns at the feet of a deity and forgets everything but God. It is an exercise in self-control, humility, and faith.
