Company Garden, Mussorie –

Company Garden, Mussoorie, is formally known as Company Bagh. it is a popular delightful picnic spot located 3 Km from Mussoorie city. A well-maintained garden has colorful flowers and plants making it divinely Beautiful. It requires a 25 Rs. entry ticket per person to get enter and needs an average time of 3 Hrs to visit the garden. A perfect outing option to visit with your kids as this park is having Fountains, play options, and an amusement park.

There is a House of Horror and wax museum to add extra entertainment. This is the best place to click the photos and you can find many photographers offering you the traditional attire to click the picture with. It also has a beautiful waterfall and a lake where you can do paddle boating. You can get decent food in restaurants inside the garden. And there are shops where you can buy local things and take memoirs back with you.

How to reach Company Garden –

The Company Garden can be reached by car or by hiring a taxi or Rickshaw. Rickshaw will charge around Rs. 500. If you are there for a full day you can rent a scooter or Bike. It is 3 Km from Mussoorie and the first to reach Mussoorie, one can take public transport. i.e.Bus from Dehradun Hill Bus station near Dehradun Railway station. Company Garden is 41 Km from Dehradun. The nearest Railway station to George Everest House is Dehradun Railway Station (41 Km) and the nearest airport is Jollygrant airport Dehradun ( 65 Km).

Company Garden from Mall Road, Mussoorie – 

If you are in Mall Road, then you aren’t too far away from Company Garden. You have to visit once. There are 3 roads for Company Garden in Mussoorie:

Library Road: The distance is around 2 km, and to reach there it will take you 10-15 minutes.

Charleville Road: Its duration is 10-15 min and its distance is approx. 3 km.

The Mall Road and Library Road: It will take you 15-20 minutes from there and its distance is 2.5-3 km.

Picnic and outing with family – Company Garden won’t disappoint you if you are planning a picnic with your family. There are a lot of activities including Horror House, Amusement park, and other activities for kids to have fun.

Walking – It is always the best activity for your all trips, but in this garden, you spend some time for yourself, with your family, friends, and your loved ones. 

Boating – Not an adventure activity but there’s a lot of fun in it, a small artificial lake is made for boating. The boat ride is an enjoyable activity for you, and your children.

The fee is 100-150/- rupees per person for a ride.

Wax museum in Mussoorie – 

The museum is also known as K Dev Bhoomi Wax Museum. Getting inspiration from Madame Tussauds Museum in London, Mussoorie has their Wax museum too. They also display celebrities in it. Queen of Hills is also getting tourists with the help of the Museum.

In the museum, they had many celebrities wax statues like Swami Vivekananda, Mother Teresa, Michael Jackson, Leonardo Di Caprio, Pitbull, and Mr. Bean.

Distance & travel time – 3 km away from Mall Road, Mussoorie, and its duration is 20 minutes from there.

Entry fee – 100/- rupees per person for 1 hr.

Note The opening time of the museum is 10:00 am and the closing time is 5:00 pm.

Summer (March to June): The average temperature in Company Garden is 26 degrees Celsius to 4 degrees Celsius.

Monsoon (July to October): 22 degrees to 8 degrees Celsius is the average temperature in monsoon.

Winter (November to February): The max temperature during the season is 17 degrees in Celsius, and the minimum temp. is -3 degrees Celsius, so be prepared for the season.
